Vitol Bunkers expands Pakistan operations with HSFO supply

Vitol Bunkers has expanded its physical bunkering operations in Pakistan with the introduction of HSFO bunkers.

"Marking a major milestone for Pakistan’s marine fuels market, Vitol Bunkers is offering the country’s first HSFO bunkering service since 2020," the company said in a social media post

Vitol Bunkers supplies VLSFO and LSMGO at Karachi Anchorage, Karachi Port, and Port Qasim, using its 6,800-mt-capacity bunker vessel, Marine Ista.

Last November, Vitol Bunkers delivered Pakistan’s largest domestically produced VLSFO stem by barge.

The fuel was produced by Cynergico, the country’s largest refinery, using US crude oil sourced from Vitol.
