The agreement, first signed in June 2025, has been extended by a further two years, TMD Energy said.

Double Corporate currently operates a biofuel plant in Malaysia that uses palm oil mill effluent (POME) as feedstock.

The extension gives both companies additional time to explore an arrangement that could enable TMD Energy to market and supply the biofuel for bunkering in Malaysia and international markets under a two-year exclusivity agreement.
